Where's the fun in playing air guitar to a pre-recorded track?  If you are throwing a party whether it is for your company, or friends getting together for a good time, you want to throw a party that everyone will remember and will be talking about for years. We suggest you "ditch the DJ" and literally liven up the music. Why?

 

People will stick around for the party
There's little mystery in a DJ, but fill a stage with guitars and drums, and people want to see what it's all about.
 

Whats Included?

 When you book us for a party, you get a comprehensive entertainment package that includes everything you need from the time we start, to the time the lights come on at the end of the night. Performance lengths vary and depend on your plans, but we typically fill up to 4 hours with 3 - 4 sets.

 
Production:
You can't be a first-class band without great production. With top notch sound reinforcement and stage lighting, we can handle anything from a private party to an outdoor festival or corporate event. 
 
Music On Breaks
We provide a random playlist between sets while we're on a break, to keep the party going.
 
Speaking - MC and others:
We generally don't allow guests/clients to use our personal equipment for speeches, announcements, or to try their hand at karaoke, but we are happy to make announcements on your behalf. Please make sure you have a plan in place for your MC or speeches for your event. We like to refer our clients to their local Long & McQuade, or music store if they need to rent a small mini–PA System/mic for their event.
 
Speedy set up and take down:
Our new age, top of the line, digital system is quick and easy to set up and take down. We can set up and take down in about an hour, to an hour and a half.

How Do I Book Boondock?

If you're interested in knowing more about booking Boondock for a party, wedding, festival, or at your establishment, here's what to expect.
 
1. You can e-mail us on the "Contact Us" page to make a general inquiry. We'll get back to you ASAP with a rough quote. The more details you can give us the better (location, how long we are needed etc.). Please also note that as we are located central Vancouver Island in the Parksville/Courtenay/Campbell River area, if it is an out-of-town show for us, we will require accommodation for the night. This can be worked into the quote, or you can take care of that separately. Please also take into consideration that if a ferry is involved, or we will need to travel quite a distance, the cost of fuel, and ferry will be included in the final quote as well.  
 
2. If you're interested in moving forward, we'll start with a couple more emails, or a phone call if you prefer, to get more specific details so the pricing can be firmed up.
 
3. Within a few days a contract can be emailed to you, or we can meet in person to go over the contract, and a 50% (non-refundable) deposit is required at the time of signing the contract, to secure your date. You can mail the contract and deposit to us (or email it back and e-transfer funds), or we can set up a time to get together in person. We'll email you back a fully executed contract and confirmation that the deposit has been paid. Or finish up in person if that is the route you have taken. The date is now officially booked.
 
4. Generally 30 days or so away from the event, we'll be in contact through email to discuss any final details.
